Brother-Captain

Brother-Captain Benedict, First Officer of the Order of the Triune Crusade.

Nemesis Force Weapon: I chopped off the halberd blade leaving just the staff, and replaced it with the axe head bit from the Logan Grimnar model.

Storm Shield: This is a riot shield from a Necromunda Enforcers Patrol Team (Enforcers Weapon Sprue 2), cut to a more traditional shield shape and attached to the mounting of a cut-away storm bolter on a regular GK Terminator arm.

Banner: This is a scratch-built construction. Two short lengths of brass rod form the pole and crossbar, and the banner itself is thin plasticard carefully heated and warped over a candle flame. It's large because I wanted it to be bold and a little over-the-top, and I've continued this policy with my other banners.

This Brother-Captain model actually functioned as my first Grand Master, and led the OTC through their first tournament. He has since returned to the Brother-Captain role and has had the storm shield replaced with a psycannon. He leads the army in smaller games (<1500 points).
